New Zealand Travel

Hi, fellow Travellers. It was about time we wrote a travel blog about the country we grew up in, New Zealand, also known as Aotearoa, The Land Of The Long White Cloud.

New Zealand is a fantastic place, safe and very different from the rest of the world, where we have traveled. It has a lot of hills and mountains and is very green. At certain times of year, it can be very white with snow. So, picking the best time for you will be important. Take note of the seasons!

When traveling in New Zealand, you’re never too far from the ocean. The country’s narrow width means no point is over 128 kilometers (80 miles) from the sea. Whether you’re exploring the South Island’s rugged coastline or enjoying the North Island’s picturesque beaches, you’ll always have the ocean nearby.

Suppose you plan to travel long distances by car, caravan, or luxurious RV. In that case, New Zealand may look small on a map, yet none of the roads are straight lines due to the amazing mountains, which give you panoramic vistas. So, estimating travel time is extremely hard to do, and let’s face it: You are on holiday exploring, and this should not come with time limits.

In our awesome travel blog about New Zealand, you will get to consider the unique gems that the generic tours will not take you to—hidden insight from travelers who grew up there.

So, a little about us: yes, we are Kiwis (Kiwi is the national bird, but also the name of someone who comes from New Zealand) who loves to travel. We share our adventures on our blog. We are not spring chickens, being closer to 55, not yet over. As you can understand, travel for us is different than for a 20-year-old. We do not put up with shared accommodation or bathrooms. We are not scared about spending a little money to enjoy the location. We also know that if you save a little money here, you can spend a little more time there, and we are careful not to waste money.

We also know that while we can give you a little information, you still need to do your own research to find out what else there is to do.

So, let’s get on with it and give you the low down with New Zealand.
